Welcome to Rounders, provided by Archen Software LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By using our app ("App"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the App.

2. Account Registration

To access your account, you must register with an accurate email address. You are responsible for keeping your login information confidential and for all activities under your account.

3. Free Tier and Subscription

The App is free to download and enjoy with these features:

• Connecting with other players
• Tracking your handicap
• Participating in competitive matches

You also get free hole-by-hole scoring for 3 rounds, which lets you score live on the course with access to all game formats and associated leaderboards. After these 3 rounds, a subscription unlocks all features without limits.

Note: Handicaps provided by Rounders are not official USGA or R&A handicaps and are for use only within the App and its community.

4. Subscriptions

Certain features or content require membership fees. These fees, plus applicable taxes, are billed annually in advance. By subscribing, you agree to pay all charges associated with your Rounders account.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment Methods: Fees are billed via Apple’s subscription service and processed through your Apple ID account. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your Apple ID for all applicable fees.
• Authorization: You confirm that you are authorized to use the provided payment method.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription anytime via Apple App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, with no further charges.
• Refunds: Refunds follow Apple’s policies. We do not issue refunds directly. Contact Apple Support for refund assistance.

7. User Conduct

You agree to use the App lawfully, respectfully, and fairly. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Spamming, harassing, or disrupting other users
• Stealing, copying, or misappropriating data from the App or other users
• Uploading or sharing inappropriate, offensive, or explicit images
• Using the App to harm, disable, or impair our services, networks, or infrastructure
• Transmitting harmful content or violating others’ rights

Violations may lead to penalties, including account suspension or termination.

8. Intellectual Property

The App and all its content—text, graphics, logos, and software—are owned by Archen Software LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Significant changes will be communicated via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or always available.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Archen Software LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages from your use or inability to use the App, including data loss or lost profits.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles.
